SACF welcomes new Board Member Ashley Davidson

The St. Albert Community Foundation is pleased to welcome and introduce our newest Director to the Board.  Ashley Davidson is a dedicated and active member of the St. Albert community, who brings a wealth of local knowledge and a strong commitment to serving the community to the Board.  Ashley’s root in St. Albert run deep, having grown up here, attending local schools, and actively participating in sports. This commitment to the community is a family tradition, with Ashley’s father having been actively involved in local counsel, this Community Foundation and Rotary.

After graduating from the University of Alberta, Ashley assumed Associate Ownership of the Shoppers Drug Mart in Mission Hill Plaza, a role she has successfully operated since 2013.  As a practicing pharmacist, she not only manages the store but also provides care to numerous residents in the community.  Ashley and her team have a history of supporting various community initiatives, including the Food Bank, Stop Abuse in Families, Sturgeon Community Hospital Foundation, and the Jessica Martel Memorial Foundation.  They continuously seek opportunities to give back to the community they hold dear.

Ashley’s husband, Ryan Polny, also shares strong ties to St. Albert, having grown up in the area and now serving as a teacher in the St. Albert Public School system.  Together, with their three active children they are deeply involved in community life and activities.  Ashley’s dedication to her community and her active engagement in community activities make her a valuable addition to the Board of Directors.
