The Community Foundation Gives Back
The St. Albert Community Foundation presented grants to 15 local organizations on Wednesday, December 14 at Red Willow Place. In 2022, the foundation will have distributed $250,000 through 26 community grants, scholarships and donor-directed funds. The 15 organizations receiving money at the event included: the Big Lake Environment Support Society (BLESS), ElderDog Canada, Jessica Martel Memorial Foundation, Kaleo Collective Ltd., Outloud St. Albert, Project Adult Literacy Society (PALS), Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation, St. Albert Family Resource Centre, St. Albert Food Bank and Community Village, St. Albert Public Library, Sta. Albert Sturgeon Hospice Association, STAR Literacy, Stop Abuse In Family (SAIF), Sturgeon Community Hospital Foundation, and Transitions Rehabilitation Association.
